Areas of Expertise

Deep Tissue Massage Therapy

Deep tissue massage is a massage technique that’s mainly used to treat musculoskeletal issues, such as strains and sports injuries. It involves applying sustained pressure using slow, deep strokes to target the inner layers of your muscles and connective tissues. This helps to break up scar tissue that forms following an injury and reduce tension in muscle and tissue.

Benefits & Uses;

  • Scar Tissues Removal & Increased Flexibility

  • Increased Circulation & Sports Recovery

  • Anxiety & Depression

Cupping Therapy

Cupping is a technique where a vacuum is created in a cup, drawing the skin up into the cup decompressing the layers of the epidermis and subcutaneous superficial fascia.  The vacuum “draws” the soft tissue perpendicular to the skin, providing a tensile force, which can be left in one site for a prolonged period or moved along the tissue.

My Approach

"I strive to provide my patients with an educated, researched and yet wholly individual intuitive approach to their massage therapy treatments."

Tiffany Stern, RMT has been a practicing Registered Massage Therapist since July 2010, after graduating from the 3 year massage therapy program at Centennial College.

Her aspiration to become a massage therapist became more significant after being involved in a major slip and fall accident. She realized that the traditional health care system did not offer the optimal holistic approach to healing that she wanted.

Tiffany has experience working at various multidisciplinary clinics, including running her own business 'Affinity Wellness Centre' for 5 years. There she treated clients of all ages with various conditions, including strains and sprains, whiplash, chronic pain, carpal tunnel syndrome and sciatica. She has also worked in a spa environment providing relaxation focused general Swedish massage, hot stone and scalp massage.

Tiffany's personal experience with injury and rehabilitation and the desire to provide excellent care and treatment to her clients are what sets her apart from the rest.
